    I wish her a speedy recovery just as I did the last time she was sick. I do not like most of her rulings during her time on the high court but I hope she can step down one day due to wanting to retire rather being forced into it due to health. I give her credit for fighting cancer and winning already a few times. She is one tough lady. If anyone can overcome this, she has shown she can.

    She has beaten this before. As much as I want her to retire, I prefer it be on her own terms. I usually agree with you but I have to call you out for this one.

    Why do you think she would want a centrist to replace her? The court is at it's best when there are opposing arguments...not a bunch of the same noise.

    if she can make it till january 2020 then the mcconnell rule will kick in and whomever wins the election in november will get the pick...unless the turtle-man was just playing politics with garland and didnt actually believe what he was saying.
