A rational adult addressing a 16 year old autistic girl who advocates for conservationism but you disagree with her message: "I appreciate Greta's enthusiasm for her cause but my administration believes that we must take a more pragmatic approach to solve these issues" A response from someone who is throwing red meat to a cult of personality base who doesn't care about rational discourse in regards to a 16 year old autistic girl who is an activist for conservationism: "She needs to check her anger management issues". One expresses a disagreement without insulting a autistic child and the other is just meant to throw red meat. Not really. Kids are generally stupid, have no life experience, and make poor arguments. The only thing they have going for them is when people defend them they do this stuff.
No reason to defend them if people didn't attack her and I'm not referring to random internet people. I expect random vitriolic vile comments and there is nothing we can do about that and that is best ignored. I'm speaking of those with clout and power insulting her character in a childlike way. Be better. They aren't children. I think it's fair to ask more from our leaders where they can be reasonable with children who disagree with them. A responsible president would probably just ignore a child activist who is an activist for a cause they disagree with.

Which is what is amazing about this 16 year old kid. She has much more going for her than plenty of adults. She has the ear of world leaders, she has the courage to stand up against the world leaders that try to bully her, she's an advocate for a worthy cause, and has done all of that despite the added challenges of Autism. So this particular kid goes against the characteristics of the majority of kids you describe in your post.
