Nah, Warren is fine if this is all you have.

 

That's not really true, she has in her past many times claimed to be Native American or "Cherokee" and while yes, there was 1 Native ancestor at one point in the distant past, that's not enough to claim that she's Native or "Cherokee"

I mean, it would be more honest for me to claim to be black because I have more sub Saharan African ancestry than she has Native ancestry.

She never claimed to be part of the Cherokee nation. She claimed that she has some native American ancestry from her mother telling her.

I actually agree in pure political terms that she should just ignore the Trump attack.

But given that if she is the DNC candidate, there will be multiomu presidental debates and months of campaigning. Trump can't fit the weeks and months of rhetoric over one subject matter about her personal history.

Policy is going to have to come up and she will annihilate Trump in that regard with nuance. So she'll be fine.

Not if she runs against Trump. Again, if she claimed to be 100% Cherokee and tribal leader, she would still be more honest than Donald Trump. When your side is putting their money on the king of dishonesty, this isn't an issue at all. Of course, this lack of substance gets your blood boiling. But it means nothing.

The right is still worried about what Warren bubbled in but they don't care about their SCOTUS nominee lying under oath.

 

Not to worry, HRC sent the Cherokees an email with some Clinton Cash in it. That should clear this whole paperwork snafu. Elizabeth Warren should be a Cherokee in no time.

If she believed her parents, why wouldn't she have answered the application honestly? C'mon, this is not the hill to die on. We should all be able to recognize when members of both parties mess the bed. I get how frustrating it is that Trump appears to get away with all kinds of statements, but that doesn't excuse this one. Folks can recognize bs coming from different sides without betraying their beliefs.

 

It’s funny how she took this test on her own to try and prove native ancestry, most likely she took several and this was the best she had to bring forth that failed in her favor. A woman of color ...

It wasn't an " application". It was a faculty survey, meaning that she was already hired when she filled the form out. Something that the "Pocahontas" crowd always conveniently declines to mention when discussing this.

Warren told the precise truth on the forms. Made no additional claims. Never brought it up. Until Republicans - desperate for something to use against her - decided to smear her over it.

 

Nah... if Trump can raw dog prostitutes while his wife watches over their recently born child... Warren is alright.

Trump has set the bar so low, lying on nearly a daily basis, that he really cannot take the moral high ground against anyone that runs against him.

Warren: “That is rich coming from the man that had unprotected sex with a w**** while his wife was still repairing from giving you a baby son.”

Trump: “You are not an Indian.”

Warren: “Grab em by the p***y.”

So it’s all off the table for anyone that goes against Trump. Short of murder there is nothing that they can do that will disqualify them.

So feel free to laugh about Warren or anyone else but just remember on the otherwise is the most dishonest and least moral person to sniff the Oval Office.

 

I was responding to your point that she did not put "Native American" on her actual applications.

Yet, if she truly believed that was her heritage based upon what her family supposedly told her, then you would expect her to have answered it Native American. That was the point I was inartfully making.

 

LOL you can think that, but that's exactly what Hillary thought too. With Trump it's basically getting down in the mud to wrestle with a pig....and people only see 2 muddy pigs. That kind of thing doesn't hurt Trump's reputation because people already think that of him, but it kills just about anyone else.
