Haven’t heard any RB but reading that we’re interested in a few OL grad transfers, one from UVA and former 5* transferring out from Tennessee. Per Chip Brown (TIFWIW), Casey Thompson has told coaches that he’s pulling his name from the portal and will be back. This comes after reports that Beuchele requested his name out in and Rising has apparently told Herman he won’t return to Austin.
If I'm Beuchele, I graduate and then transfer to start for a year. I'm not sure if I should be worried about the backup QB yet, should I? They absolutely need another RB to help Ingram.
Buechele is set to graduate in May so he'll be a grad transfer with 2 years of eligibility left. SMU is the supposed leader and think that would be a good fit for him. Agreed on RB. Daniel Young is a good compliment but his fumbling issues are a huge concern. True Freshman Jordan Whittington will apparently practice at RB as well.
I'm really excited about him. They're talking like they want to use him kind of all over the place: in the slot, in the backfield, returning kicks. Saw him compared to Alvin Kamara.
Ya and hope they add some creativity to the offense. Sam isn't going to hold up the way we played him last season.

Tyler Owens is now a five star recruit and headliner of the 2019 class. Glad to see our coaches evaluating talent well and getting these guys early on in the cycle. We should have at least 4-5, current 5 star recruits in the backfield, which will help out tremendously because OU landed several 5 star WR's this cycle.
Lots of smoke on the 9.95 sites about Bru McCoy potentially entering the transfer portal. He could end up staying at USC. — If McCoy enters the portal, Texas will have the best shot to land him. — Texas has not been in contact with McCoy. That would be considered tampering
