I buy these anytime I am ever on the eastern part of the country. Great beer I came to really like since the first time I went to Philadelphia. Very happy about this news. https://abc13.com/yuengling-in-texas-beer-beers-where-can-i-find/9688626/
It’s better than the garbage Miller and Budweiser sucker Americans into buying. Honestly it is better than most the swill Texans have to pick from when it comes to beer. With the quality of American craft beers in the Midwest and West Coast, it has lost a little luster.
Real beer? I hate to go all beer snob but it’s only good if you are mowing your lawn and you ran out of water.
I would agree with this post 4 years ago, but Houston has come a loooong way. Local breweries such as St. Arnold’s (yes I know they’ve been around a long time), Eureka Heights, 8th Wonder and Southern Star have come a long way and each has at least 1-2 fantastic beers depending on your specific taste preferences. YL was all I heard about for years from a few Philly transplants who I work with. Finally got to try it at Disneyworld of all places and it didn’t live up to the hype IMHO. But I probably felt that way due to all of the hype I heard. But definitely preferred it to your standard Coors/Miller/InBev offerings.
It's one of my favorites for cheap, light, "being outside in the middle of summer" beer, which I guess is saying something.
