Not sure if this has been posted but I felt like sharing my favorite choices with you all.

My favorite .99 cent fast-food choices:

    1) McD's Hot and Spicy McChicken sandwich
    2) Wendy's 5-piece nuggets
    3) McD's Double Cheesebuger
    - To make this a Mini-BigMac, tell them to add lettuce and Big-Mac sauce and its still goin to be .99, Good friggin deal!

What do you all like to grub on for .99 cents?

man, this thread reminds me of the good 'ol days when teh Whopper was the best 99 cent burger out there. now i have to settle for chicken sandwiches and 5 piece nuggets. wendy's even killed my second favorite 99 cent burger, the texas double. i'm losing faith in the 99 cent burgers.

You're damn right, the Whopper for 99 cents was the best deal around. Burger King's chili is probably my favorite now.

You can't beat a cup of chili from Wendy's with a couple orders of nuggets.

Taco's from taco bell are still .79. How about Jumbo Jack's for .99? Wendy's small frosty for .99. Everything else just keeps going up in price here in California.

Whataburger's 99 cent Taquitos were THE thing to eat from 11 PM to 11 AM.

99 Big Macs were righteous too.

But as of right now the 99 cent Spicy McChicken and it's double beef counterpart are kings of the 99 cent hill.

I laugh at you all. Near my house there's still a Burger King that sells Whoppers for $.99 for some reason. When the kethcup, mayo, and burger juice mix that's just heaven.

Anyway, does anyone remember when McDonalds had the Cajun McChicken for 99 cents? The one with about 3 gallons of mayonnaise and a nice batter? That was the shiznit.

Still have 99 cent Whoppers here in the Metroplex. Just another reason that it's good to live in DFW... :D ;)

Can't beat Taco Bell for cheap food, and Taco Bueno's bean burritos are prett damn tasty as well...

Two tacos for 99 cents. Either at Jack in the box or at Burger King.

    They always kick ass.

It used to be the whopper or the Jumbo Jack, but both have since gotten out of the .99 menu. So unfortunately, I can't eat a full lunch for 2.14 anymore(2 whoppers + water). :( Now they have crappy little cheeseburgers on that menu.

Right now, I'd say Breakfast Jack, subsituting suasage in place of ham. Definitely the best bang for the buck.

Want a full lunch for $2.14? Get a Wendy's Sour Cream and Chive potato, and a Wendy's chili. Pour the chili and Sour Cream on the potato and enjoy.

Also: DO NOT buy the Wendy's Chili and cheese potato. It costs about 50 cents more, and they don't put nearly the amount of chili in it than if you purchase them separately.

    Just my two bits.

Yep. I tried it out one time and thought they'd charge me extra. But they didn't. So I have since made Jack in the Box the only place I go to for breakfast. As I'm a very cheap person. :)

Never thought about that. I eat their chili-chips on occasion, but this is a good combo for a nice, big potato. I'll be sure to try your suggestion sometime.
