OP lost me when he said McGrady and Yao shouldn't be HOFers, but Lew Lloyd should. Dude had two great years in college and was an NBA starter for 3+ years, never averaged 20 points for even a single season, despite the fact that scoring was pretty much his game. And he's more HOF-worthy than these Yao and McGrady? Let's see... Yao: 6-time All-Star, 4-time All-NBA Team, All-Rookie Team, greatest foreign ambassador the game has ever seen T-Mac: 2-time scoring champ, 7-time All-Star, 7-time All-NBA Team Lloyd: 2-time college All-American OP, GTFO with that nonsense.
Both guys are easy Hall of Fame talents. Both unfortunately suffered injuries that cut their primes shorter than they should have been. I'm pretty glad that they were still recognized.

Yao might be more HOF worthy than Jordan. VERY few guys that deserve more than he does for everything he has done for the game of basketball.
This is utterly ridiculous. Yao Ming, just based on his global influence alone, is a hall-of-famer and TMac was too good to not be in it. Sure TMac broke our hearts at times in the playoffs, but you can't tell me he wasn't, at one point, one of the best scorers in the NBA. If Yao had continued playing without injury, there could've been legitimate debate about him being the best center in the league. Gtfo.
