Don't want to jump to conclusions since this is coming from McNamee's lawyers, but what a big blow to the Clemens supporters if true.

    Nah,

Andy will say " I do not recall having a conversation about HGH with Roger "

He will protect his cheating buddy.

If it goes that way it will be pretty damning for Clemens. We'll see.

The article is pretty misleading; but even if Pettite can confirm Clemens used, he's not gonna say it, he's not gonna rat him out; he'll just refuse to talk about anyone else.

If Pettitte really does do that while it may sound crazy, I'll absolutely hate him from then on. It's not because I'm a huge fan of Roger, it's just the b**** factor of it. You don't rat your friends out. Period.

I don't think he can confirm that Clemens used unless he was in the room. The rest is hearsay...which basically the entire Mitchell Report is. I'm sure some of it is true, but, IMO, very little would pass for actual evidence in a court of law.

Even under oath in front of Congress? And isn't it Clemens fault too for puting Andy on the spot asking him to commit perjury because he doesn't want to tell the truth that he cheated?

I would never ask my friends to commit perjury if I dug myself into a big ole' lying hole. Time to man up Roger.......

You wouldn't tell the truth to avoid time in federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison?? Hey, I like my friends, but I don't like them THAT much, and I certainly wouldn't let them drag me down to the hole they dug for themselves.

Sorry, I guess I just too loyal. I wouldn't ever rat out my friends. I'd say I knew nothing about it until I was blue in the face. They can't prove what I do and don't know and if anyone else says otherwise it is my word versus theirs. I also think that some of you are blowing this out of proportion a little. I don't think that this situation warrants jail time.

This whole steriod thing is just so freaking stupid. I can't believe that we are wasting our governments time, money, and resources over something that just isn't that damn important.

yep, it will keep Andy and Roger off the hook and leave it "he said/she said". But if they ask "How did you know McNamee had HGH?", would be interesting to see how Andy will answer that one.

QUESTION: Would you think Roger is guilty if Andy takes the 5th on any questions regarding Roger?

well, with Pettitte, I think it would make a big difference if he has to swear on a bible before testifying. He might prefer to be loyal to god rather than to roger clemens.
