OP's thread posting privileges should be removed for about 6 months. Stupid is being way too kind.

I thought that was supposed to be realistic?

Russel is so much better than that combination, and then to add gas to the fire, the author suggests the Thunder also toss in some draft picks? Right.

If Tyson were 5 years younger and the Knicks had more picks to give, this might be a realistic trade.

I just wonder how much Knicks paid to have this written.

We can do better Asik + Brewer + Garcia for WB.

I think you are giving Westbrook up for pennies on the dollar, BUT I do think this trade makes the Thunder super dangerous.

Ibaka and Chandler manning the frontline, and Durant has proven these last few weeks he is more than capable of shooting however many times you need him to.

Their defense would be top 2 (between them and Indy) and their offense would still easily be top 3 (like #1, but who knows offense is harder to predict).

perkins might suck at offense but hes still a very servicable big on D.

Giving up picks and a top 3 PG in the league for an aging Chandler is a ****ing terrible deal. They have adams anyways.

But they are already the 3rd defense and 5th offense without WB for half the season so far.

so the price for OKC to get rid of perkins is to include westbrook? WOw, Del Pearson really thinks OKC is that dumb and desperate to get rid of perkins eh? Neither Shump and fat dough felton are solid starter let alone star players. OKC gonna need another non lotto protected 1st rounder to even consider the trade.

Which the Knicks don't even have...

If OKC did trade Westbrook, I would imagine it would be similar to a deal for Harden (a rotation player at that position, two or three picks/prospects) except the deal would probably be a bit heavier (maybe another pick or taking on Perk), since Westbrook's marginal utility now > Harden's was because OKC doesn't have Harden anymore.

Here's one possibility of an (unlikely) Westbrook deal.

And here's another, Charlotte would probably have to send a pick or two.

And another, again with OKC receiving a pick or two.

The Knicks would have to steal a lottery pick from Cleveland or some bad team..to make this work..because idk if anyone in the league wants Raymond Felton

Knicks must really not like draft picks.

Unless it's a guaranteed lottery pick, Westbrook ain't going anywhere.

Even then, I doubt it. Now if WB develops an injury history whereby he starts missing games on a regular basis, then I could see OKC wanting to unload him. But under that circumstance, what would he be worth?

I love that despite the fact that they are giving up the best player in the deal the writer still felt like the Thunder needed to throw in a 2nd round pick.

It would make more sense for the Thunder to trade with the Magic.
