I was a HUGE Horry fan but he isn't HOF worthy. He has a ton of rings so that should help him sleep at night. ;)

Do they have a defined criteria for the HOF. I think his apparent luck is note-worthy. Since it does seem like its more individual focused, he shouldn't.

He should get like a transition plaque between memorials to great players. Say between Duncan and Shaq eventually.

    Polls always reveal the truth.

    Sincerely,

    Michael Dukakis, July 1988
    and
The 69% of Americans who thought Saddam Hussein was directly involved with 9/11, Sept 2003

    ------
Maybe less speaking and more listening
Maybe less debate and more feeling
Maybe that truth is closer than you think
    You resist because you know
    Deep down
Maybe less deeply than you will ever admit

    You
    Know

    The truth is so powerful
    Feel it

    You started the poll
    Because
    You know

Robert Horry should be in the Hall of Fame

    2. Robert Horry will be immortalized by fans of the Spurs, Rockets and Lakers

    3. no one will beat Horry's record of playoff games

Actually the poll is extremely biased in Horry's favor, being a Rockets message board. Post this poll on the hawks message board and you'd get at least 95% of the votes being no. So far 9 ROCKETS fans have said no, thats saying something

    I disagree.

    1. latent content - (psychoanalysis) hidden meaning of a fantasy or dream
    - a set of techniques for exploring underlying motives and a method of treating various mental disorders
    - what a communication that is about something is really about

    Astros loves Robert Horry.

    you compared him to SAR.

that's like comparing Hakeem to Luther Head.

Yes. The first step towards total inner peace and redemption.

Soon you will know he belongs in the Hall of Fame.

    no they wouldn't.

they would pass it out to both of those chuckers and they'd miss.

Mike James rode the pine with the pistons.

if SAR was on any team they'd mysteriously suck, kinda like Juwan Howard only worse.

There are rings and there are Rings. Hitting shots like Horry did makes each of those championships Rings. Seriously, SAR does NOT hit that shot against Sacramento, for instance. Saying Horry coattailed is to totally miss how inevitable it is that he wins one pivotal game in each series with some preposterous heroic. Like that weird Detroit game with the Spurs, when he went mentally insane and changed the complexion of the series.

And again, in all seriousness, that calm and that poise and that consistent delivery of goods no matter what the circumstances is contagious. He has never been a scrub. He has always been a major, major contributor.

He is not like other players. But if you look at the circumstances, you can not cough it up to luck. You just can't. Was he Pippen? Jordan? Kareem? Hakeem? No.

    He is Robert Horry.

Robert Horry should be in the Hall of Fame.

No way horry is a hall of famer. Yea hes got the rings and has hit big shots, but getting into the hall of fame is largely based on individual stats. If there was a hof for players luck, the would erect a statue of Horry there. Could you imagine T-Mac not gettin in the hall of fame and Horry getting in? Can you honestly tell me just because he has rings and t-mac doesnt means he is more deserving?

If you read anything i said instead of just reading the garbage tinman wrote in responce, i didn't say its all luck(although certainly a lot of it was, had he been drafted by some random team nobody would have ever given him a 2nd thought), i said his entire body of work does NOT make him a hall of famer, and it seems more people agree with me then don't, why dont you call of them idiots to?
