Knowing everything that you know now, would you rather the Astros win the WS and not the Rangers, or the Texans have CJ Stroud?

I personally would say no. Because CJ Stroud has put the Texans on the national media landscape. The Astros were never on the national media landscape because they don't talk about baseball, period. That's just the pecking order of baseball vs football. Furthermore, CJ has almost ensured that the Texans will be a competitive, entertaining football team for the next decade. That is worth more imo than the high of a WS victory, which might last a couple months, or half a year etc.

    I'm an Astros fan.

I couldn't even tell you who C.J. Stroud is or what he has to do with an Astros message board.

Not a Texans fan so I voted World Series.
But if the same question was asked but instead of Stroud it was Justin Jefferson for me, I would choose Jefferson just because Astros already have 2 WS while Vikings have 0.

You wouldn’t give up a WR on a team that has zero chance of winning a Super Bowl for not only another ring but also denying the Rangers?

Question should be...would you give up Yordan Alvarez for another WS win?

This. I mean, I don't think they mean we'd hypothetically wish anything bad on CJ, it just asks from a Texans perspective. He seems like a good person, even if he's a (BARF) Dodgers and Lakers fan.
I pull for an NFC team in a different time zone (to the extent I follow the NFL - which pales in my Astros and MLB fandom), but at its core, this is really a question about which team do you prefer. This is the Astros sub-forum, so of course there's going to be more Astros fans on this thread. That said, of the people who are fans of both, I can see why they'd prefer the Texans.

Just proves how boring baseball off season is. I've got one. Which do you like best? Brussel Sprouts or Chocolate?

I want the Astros to earn their WS wins so no I would not trade Stround for a WS win. I don't care about a banner without the journey leading up to it. If cities were allowed multisport trades, I would so trade Stroud in a heartbeat for an equivalent amount of some pitching.

I'm a fan of all Houston teams, but in your scenario, I would trade Yordan to move up and take Marvin Harrison Jr....I'll do it in a heartbeat.

Kind of depends. Have you had the Brussel sprouts at Perry's? They are f***ing delicious.

They could drench Brussel Sprouts with chocolate, pecans, and marshmallows and I will still hate them.

I mean...that would be pretty disgusting. But what Perry's does to them might make you reconsider.
