Exactly the mistake we as rockets fan made last year with westbrook was allowing the westbrook triple double narrative to takeover the NBA early( thinking it would die down) and we just sat back and watched until it was too late. This year i like that rockets fans are being more outspoken on twitter to prevent that same tree from growing again with kyrie riving

If Rockets are best in the west and CP3 is playing better ball than James Harden is playing now... consider me bullet-proof.

And I only proposed Paul will be the hero on xmas day against Westbrook.

But I'm serious. We will have the best record going into that NBA on ABC showdown.

If Boston continues to dominate the season and Kyrie's numbers get better, I'd really have no problem with them giving the MVP to Kyrie. If CP3 continues to increase his presence on the court, then it only makes sense that Harden's candidacy suffers as a result.

Al Horford, compared to Kyrie, has a better:

    Off rating - 108vs105
    Def rating - 96vs97
    Net rating - 12vs8
AST ratio - 25vs19(wtf how Kyrie is a PG)
    EFG% - 61vs53
    TS% - 64vs58
    Usage - 18vs29

Kyrie is at 2.9 win shares vs Horford’s 2.2

Kyrie definitely is basketball eye candy but one could argue Horford is the anchor for that team and at the very least just as valuable to Boston’s success and Kyrie Irving.

No sense pointing this out honestly. The media does not care. Narrative is what matters.

Paul pierce got stabbed one too many time. Must have gotten an artery that carries blood to the brain.

    Former Celtic bias too.

    Which is a problem.

Lots of ex-celtics guys or celtics fans in the media right now.

Then the guys that are Rockets related will meekly agree with them...Yes, looking at Kenny Smith and Tmac...

There's a story...a double story ... PG screws Indiana, and Oladipo is unleashed from Westbrook.

And Indiana has better winning % than last year's MVP

Harden's clutch time stats tonight against the Nuggets.

    0-0-0-0-0

What a scrub. Real MVPs only score in clutch time brah.

    Headline tomorrow for First Take:

"Heat overcome Kyries tremendous effort (23, 3, 3) and the Celtics improve to 16-3"

This award isn't even an mvp award anymore. It's just a which story line the media loves most award. Getting rid of espn was a great choice. I was literally losing brain cells watching those trash shows.

He's right. Kyrie is the MVP. Media has all but decided on it.
