Is Wood better than Clint? I think it’s an obvious yes with the ball handling and shooting skills Wood possesses. Clint has had some monster games on the stat sheet this year, but I think it’s clear Wood is, by far better, than anything Clint would have ever been on the Rockets.

    What are your thoughts?

I think Wood is much better than Capela, but Capela would look great next to Wood.

Wood is quicker and a more well-rounded player. He is a much better offensive threat. Capela is stronger and does better against bigger players

Clint is a defensive and rebounding Anchor.

Wood is the opposite of that. Capela has no offensive ability outside 3 feet. They are different players

Wood does so much more on the court. Capela is a better defender.

Wood can create his own, Capela is useless without P&R.

Wood is by far better and can still improve a lot, Capela is what he is at this point, imo.

Wood is much better offensively, Clint is a lot better defensively.

Overall, I'd probably take Wood over Clint, more so with Harden gone and us needing more offensive punch.

Clint has peaked whereas Wood's "ceiling is through the roof".

Clint is who he is at this point, a defensive-minded, rebounding center who can finish lobs ( I find him comparable to DeAndre Jordan in his prime) and who will sometimes stuff the stat sheet, but Wood has a chance to be something truly special with his playmaking abilities on offense.

They are completely different players even if they're playing the same position.

Imo only: I think Wood is clearly superior offensively but Clint is better defensively right now. But keep in mind, an offensively skilled center was really just a bonus for D'Antoni's Rockets. They needed a guy who set great picks, a roll threat and a player who could both switch and protect the rim.

Wood is extremely versatile offensively. If Wood gets stronger and improves as a rim protector, watch out.

The question is what kind of team is playing is it a championship contending team like we had in 2017 2018 or is it a team like we have right now that doesn't stand a chance at contending? Contending team Clint all day. Rebuilding team Wood.
