I dont think so I would love to see Will Smith as a Texan. They will bring in some defesne in 04. Jones is a stud if he is fully recovered from his injuries and has a great season he is a possibility but I dont see the Texans drafting a running back that class is very weak imo

No Clarett or Benson (if he does what he is capable of)?

Frank Gore will be the first running back taken next season. Look for him to challenge all of McGahee's single season records at Miami.

Well, if Henson decides to go to the NFL and we trade for an additional 1st rounder or so, maybe we can get two stud players.

He would sell out the place every night too if he did the halftime show

Ditto on Gore. The Canes' coaching staff says he's got more talent than Edgerrin James or McGahee. Not to mention they have Walter Payton's son in the backfield as well.

I'm curious as to when any of you think it would be appropriate to consider your line? Ever?

Let's baffle the draft experts and go with Kellen Winslow, Jr. (TE) next year...

Thats a stud in the making. Its rare to see a tight end that fast and can catch the football.

I love that guy....I could see him putting up college numbers like Shockey if the QB situation is resolved. He just has incredibly reliable hands in the games I've seen, not to mention great althleticism.

Draft Roy Williams if we can. Williams and Johnson could become one of the best WR combo of all time.

I'd love to see the Texans take Greg Jones out of FSU. The guy can run. One of his espnlike highlight runs reminded me of Earl Campbell.

Yall are stupid, we are going to make the playoffs and i bet we are going to be a great team. I think we should not think about 1st or 2nd pick next year we problably have the 13 to 16 pick next year. Ben Jopru is going to be a killer TE like shockey, he was the second TE chosen so he is going to make a big impact.
Andre is going to start were he left of in miami and burn all the CB.

Taking into consideration that the Texans have a rough schedule next season, they will probably miss the playoffs again, which in my book is ok because they are still building the team. If they finish 4-12 or 5-11, they will be between the fourth and eighth pick.

It is way too early to begin contemplating who the Texans will take in next year's draft. I mean how many people thought that the Texans would draft a WR? Depending on what the management believes that they need to build upon will determine who they pick.

Keep in mind that the Texans have two second round picks next year and could very well parlay both of them to get into the first round to take an "impact" player. At this point there are too many variables to make a legitimate conclusion.

Because Clarrett is most likey uneligible even he wants to come out next year, I think we should go after Greg Jones of FSU. This guy has power and speed all wrapped up in a big frame. He runs over people.

That would be a fantasy for David Carr. They would be the bigger version of Holt/Bruce.
