It's Grand Texas Theme Park or bust. Can't see a company wanting to open a theme park here while Grand Texas slowly moves forward. You'll have to get your ride "thrills" at Kemah or Pleasure Pier for awhile longer.
Right....... and after all the messicans are sent back to their ethnic homeland, there won't be anyone able to withstand the 100 degree Houston summers.
I don't do too much in property law, but I have had some partners that have and I was always told that years ago Disney bought land and continued to over the years for use (theme park) if needed, and for investment purposes. I know that Disney owned a large area of land in the suburbs or Chicago, but sold it 10-15 years ago.
What is the best rollercoaster in America? Houston needs to top it! They also need another better version of the Horizon Theatre of Astroworld days. Those were some great memories lying down to watch first person views of rollercoaster rides, Grand Canyon flyovers, etc. on that screen. It was a truly exhilarating experience back in the day. The Astroway needs to go back up with cool upgrades like a see through floor, drink options, and awesome new lights while having longer rides at varying heights. I also want to build a Rocket ship that blasts off and then jettisons the cabin that transitions in the second part of the ride. Also, a new optimized concert venue with futuristic seating by groups in open cubes that programmatically move fans in unison up-and-down/side-to-side to give front row views of the acts from all angles with optimized sound. No more seat numbers! All seats get the same views and from every conceivable angle! Then, there will be a zombie horde ride. I have this whole idea for a new theme park for Houston in my head. Now, if I could just have someone rich enough to implement it and that would use my ideas.
I mean, you CAN open up a water park. But there's Typhoon Texas in Katy and Schlitterbahn in Galveston, so Houstonians would just go there.
Did they build a waterpark attraction "Wild Isle" on a man-made holding pond full of stagnant rainwater? Really?! How idiotic! That looks AWFUL!
Houston's climate is identical to Orlando's...which is home to the most visited theme parks in the country.
Incredible. I know my parents have some old films that we need to have recorded on to DVDs. Lots of Peppermint Park birthday party pictures and films for me, and my brother and sister.
