I am not sure how we can get Gasol. I read an article indicating that Gasol was one of Yao's favorite players before he became a Rockets. Yao had indicated in different occasions (back in China) that he would lilke to play with Gasol on the same team.

So a great evaluator of talent like Jerry West apparently doesn't like him for his softness.

We are crying out for a tough rebounding, defense playing PF.

I'll bet 95% of this board would have gone out of their minds if Abdur-Rahim were a Rocket and they'd have traded him for Gasol on draft day.

I really like Pau's game...so do Hubie and Jerry.
