610 is terrible unless you want Texans talk 24/7. Sort of surprised that they did this since football season is coming and that's when they get their ratings.

Pretty positive Hand was Rich's partner prior to Pallilo.

I think he got into sports doing fantasy football stuff, though I'm not sure how much football he's done recently. He co-hosted a show in Atlanta, so the NFL probably isn't foreign to him.

That u are boycotting Nike tells me we can ignore your take. Im sure 610 cares as much as Nike about your boycott.

Maybe lately because their ratings usual suck during the football off season. Just look at who they have as host/co-host, all are former football players or football related guys (not sure about the new Atlanta guy). Wait when the season starts...

I feel the same on all counts.

Rich Lord was, at his best, background noise. I never heard an interesting take from him or a joke that made me laugh.

Haven't been in H-Town for 5~ years but I know this is a tectonic change.

Bring back Russ Small. Too busy to listen to sports radio now, sad to see a Houstonian no longer employ.

Houston sports radio is really really bad.

Chicago sports radio is so much better. Really no excuse for a town as big as Houston to not have better talent and content.

Yeah. But Chicago sucks in general so it’s a give and take.

I prefer Houston to Chicago for quality of life.

Food wise it isn’t even close... Houston is vastly superior.

I’ve lived in both and agree completely.

Our sports radio is pretty bad compared to a lot of cities though

Coming back in to houston rich lord is one of those things you remember. 610 is left with little except sean pendergast. That feels like shopping at sears.

Who are they going to axe next I would assume lopez is a dead man walking.

Sequels are never as good but they should run it back rich lord and charlie palillo.

And LA radio is worse can you believe.

It's like musical chairs. So many stations, so many shows, so many "personalities".....honestly, I don't know how you guys even keep up. I stopped trying years ago and only do podcasts now.

I get all the local sports talk I need from this website. People here are much more in tune with all of our teams than any of these local am radio HACKS.
