Paul can lead the league in assists and steals. Kobe and Lebron can lead the league in scoring and add plenty of assists and rebounds. If I had to pick between the 3 of them I'd go Paul, Lebron (toss up really) and then Kobe.
Kobe has the least appeal IMO. You can get someone to fill your stat sheet in a similar way later in the draft. Personally I would draft Amare before Kobe, but I am crazy.
i was able to get lebron in my draft tonight with the 5th pick! paul, kobe, dirk and vince carter (yes) went ahead of him!
Lebron in the clear choice, IMO. In 3 of my Yahoo drafts, I got pick #1, #1 and #2, and ended up with Lebron in all of them.
Here's how I stack up. League 1: Baron Davis Richard Hamilton Brandon Roy Antawn Jamison Josh Smith Jeff Green Zydrunas Ilgauskas Luis Scola James Posey Shane Battier Kendrick Perkins Manu Ginobili Monta Ellis League 2: Andre Miller Dwyane Wade Mike Bibby Ron Artest Rudy Gay Matt Barnes David Lee Pau Gasol Rafer Alston Stephen Jackson Andray Blatche Kirk Hinrich Nene Hilario and League 3: Chris Paul Peja Stojakovic Grant Hill (dropping for Mikael Pietrus) Matt Barnes Tim Duncan Kevin Love Mehmet Okur Yao Ming Louis Williams Nate Robinson Jason Terry Gerald Wallace Francisco Garcia Tell me what y'all think.
While he doesn't have the glamour of the other pics, I don't see how you couldn't take Stoudemire with the #4 pick. I would even consider him over Kobe with #3 pick (after Paul and James) since Stoudemire has forward and center eligibility.
You're absolutely not. Chris Paul is a no-brainer at 1st overall. In H2H, Lebron and Amare are about the same value, but you definitely have to go with Amare in Roto. Kobe's far behind at 4th.
NO. Not if you're playing in a serious league. You could start thinking about him in uh... the seventh round, perhaps. And that's a gamble. He tanks your FG%, FT%, TOs and has horrible durability. Good player does not mean good fantasy player.
