I hate the fact that, it seems Baron Davis has taken that jump foward ahead of Stevie. I think Steve is better, and has more potential, and next season is the time he better realize it to take that leap to stardom.

Darius Miles, Tim Thomas, Jamaal Tinsley, Keon Clark, and Jason Richardson could all break out next season.

There's many that have the Potential.
Andre Miller and Jermaine Oneal seem to have the best chance IMO.
    Can't forget about the Clippers.
And watch out for Turk from the Kings.

I love A Miller.........anyone that can get that many assists on a "sorry" team deserves props.
    -Plays defense
-Understands the game a lot better than the majority of younger players.
    -Has shown improvement.
As of right now, it's him and Baron Davis as the next great point guards IMO.

And I have to disagree with Brand = Rahim.
Brand will go down low and earn his.
He's a much better defensive player.
He's also shown improvement in his game since he entered the NBA, which can't really be said about Rahim.

People will disagree with me on this, but I'd take Brand over pretty much any PF except Duncan, Garnett, and Dirk....if they consider him a PF.

Not a comprehensive list, but 5 players who could break out over the next few years. Anyone who has made the all-star team really doesn't qualify for "breaking out" in my opinion, so I've limited this to those players who could hit it big over the next few years.

    Next season:
    Desmond Mason
    Jason Richardson
    Quentin Richardson
    Pau Gasol
    Kenyon Martin

    Two years:
    Corey Maggette
    Eddie Griffin
    Al Harrington
    Michael Olowokandi
    Tony Parker

    Three years:
    Jonathan Bender
    Yao Ming
    Steven Hunter
    LeBron James
    DaJuan Wagner

I think that they're about even right now...but one thing that seperates the two is free throw shooting.

Baron shot a Shaqesque 58% from the line this season.

Let's not forget leadership and position in the playoffs, either.
