Past 2 years we've seen Dirk, McGrady, Paul Pierce and even Baron Davis taking that leap into superstar-caliber level leading their team to the playoffs. who do y'all think will be next?

    my pick:

-Francis: Rudy will finally lay off the Bud light and realize this guy will explode as a 2-guard. And Steve will finally take some Midol or somethin to get rid of the migraines

    Dark Horse:

-Jermaine O'neal: He had a great game 1 but struggled in the next 2 playoff games. I think he will take the reigns from Miller and be 'da man' for the Pacers

I just wish Francis can be healthy. When he's healthy it seems as if the skys the limit for example his Rookie year and last year. This year he showed signs of greatness too but was held back due to nagging injuries.

Davis,Mcgrady,Nowitzki, and Pierce have recently made there move and now its definitley time for Francis.

Bonzi Wells has shown he can be great as well. Although i feel he is underrated.

Agreed on Jermaine O'neal. He's in that mold of KG, it just took him a lot longer to develop. Hopefully these high school players will look at him, and some of these recent draftees, and decide on going to college instead of sitting on a bench for 5 years before doing anything. Then again, they are making a lot of money, but they will make a lot more starting out if they go to school.

Some others I think are on the rise:

Derek Anderson: either he needs out of Portland, or they need to get rid of the clog at 2/3. I think he's still got a lot of potential.

Richard Hamilton: just needs to get stronger, smarter, and work on his shot a bit.

Shawn Marion: already a pretty big star, but could emerge as one of the premier SF's soon.

i think rip and marion are good picks. If nash isn't there yet, he could be soon. Probably one of those players on the clips, depending on who stays and who goes. And i think bonzi wells is on the verge...once they get some of that dead weight out of there, or he jumps to a different squad.

i think rip still has things to work out. he's like an Eastern version of Mobley: not a great starter but could be a great 6th man (flame away haha).

    i'll agree on:

    -wells
    -gasol
    -marion

derek anderson, as DieHard said, needs to leave portland or they need to ship some players out. he needs to play for the Hawks or somethin b/c SAR should have made that leap 3 years ago.

i have a hard time seeing chandler and curry make the leap anytime soon. maybe it'll take some time...

elton brand will and is a quintissential 20-10 guy but to me he don't have that aura that says 'oh man...this guy is gonna light it up soon'. maybe....just maybe he'll reach that plateau.

    how bout moochie norris?

terrence morris. i definitely see him taking the next step up and starting to hit the rim on his jump shots. there's just no way you can suppress the amazing potential he has to one day draw iron.

    Andre Miller?
    I hate you're kidding.

Good numbers on a crappy team doesn't mean smack.

Cuttino Mobley is on the verge of going for 30 a night.

Watch out for Kenyon Martin, Darius Miles and Al Harrington.
