you got to be kidding me with this thread! there are a bunch of threads on this topic, also this topic has been discussed ad nauseam
McHale is responsible for the failures on the court, but McHale would not be a problem without Morey. If you want to solve a problem, you need to look at the source.
Nobody. This was a playoff series that pitted the two most evenly matched teams in this year's playoffs. Both teams had identical 54-28 records and the closeness of this defeat echoed that. When two such teams face off in the playoffs in an elimination game, the team that wins is the one that either makes the decisive play (3 ptr with .9 seconds left) or the one that commits the most mistakes (DH missing crucial FTs down the stretch). There really is nothing more to say. I now return you to the ongoing Clutchfans meltdown in progress...
McHale. A competent coach would have limited Harden's minutes when playing poor offense. Also, the non-defense by Harden would have been nipped in the bud by a coach with leadership. McHale is a complete clusterphuque . No offense, no defense, no leadership, no motivating, no control, no bueno.
Screw that. We were/are better than them. We had a double digit lead if every single damn game if memory serves. They were never up by more than 4 or 5 on us the whole damn series.
I love the beard but this series is on him. Secondly, McHale should have figured out a way to get him going so coaching is right next to it but it's on Harden. However, I do believe a better coach would have gotten Harden easier looks.
