Players faults for not playing well

Coaching staffs fault for not getting the players to play well

Morey's fault for hiring the coaching staff

    Les' fault for hiring Morey

Les' parents fault for birthing him.

So its ultimately Le$' parent'$ fault for the failure of this team.

What? No "all of the above" at the bottom of the poll? Kudos for making it public, OP.

Moreys quick trigger finger on McHale and JB clearly wasn't ready to be HC.

    To me this lineup

    Beverley/Goudelock
    Harden/KJ
    Ariza/Beasley
    DMO/Harrell
    Capela/DMO

with a competent head coach and a system in place that doesn't consist of "give harden the ball and then stand around and watch him" is better than what we currently have. Probably a 6 seed.

Even if you like their system they don't have the players to make it work. A competent coaching staff and front office could have seen this team overachieving last year. I really believe the coach hiring/firing decisions are being made by Les. So even though JB needs to go he didn't ask to be in that position. I like Morey but he needs to step back and take less of a role in basketball decisions. Bring in a coach with a vision and instill a system that makes sense for the personnel.

I don't know who to blame most , either Les or Morey. This team is devoid of talent outside Harden , Ariza , PatBev.

Part of it comes down to the owners philosophy of not being bad to get good. They picked in the middle of the draft for so long that they just have no talent to help their stars. Rather we have a bunch of players on vet min contracts getting significant minutes .... All the cap space & assets are used up chasing stars.

Then we have coaches who wont play young guys .... like KJ instead giving a vet like Brewer big minutes even when he's consistently failed to produce.

I cant seem to fault Morey when he has to work within the guidelines set by Les .... You take a chance with Howard & Harden 10 times out of 10. You make the Lawson trade 10 out of 10. More often than not those things will work out positive.
The only decision he's made that I really question is retaining Brewer on a deal that paid him more than Ariza this season.

Back to the original thought .... They did all they could to make the playoffs and give up that draft pick. Why ? So Les could get paid for 4 more games.

Les is about money in his pocket NOW , not building for the future.

Just two more beat downs left .... then it'll be over and we can watch Les do the same things he does every year - chase stars .... while we still have a hole at both PG & PF .... and probably lose Dwert and have a hole there too.

Harden , Durant and a bunch of scraps doesn't scare the real contenders.

Morey's parents fault for not buying him one of those shape toys as a kids.

Square blocks don't fit into circular holes Morey.

Gotta be Morey. He was duped, like we all were, by last season, but it's pretty obvious now how poorly fitting this roster is. Don't want him fired, though. I'd like to see what he does to fix it.

It's a combination of Morey and McHale, and it's only Morey because he hired McHale. I think if this team had a proper coach from the beginning we would have seen a team that was built with some kind of strategy and identity that could have grown steadily around some type of overarching vision. This team hasn't had an identity at all under McHale's tenure. Instead what we have is the basketball strategy equivalent of a chicken running around with its head cut off. You can't really become a consistent well-oiled machine with that sort of chaos. Eventually it's going to fall apart.
