    Don’t really think that’s fair.

I would probably trade the entire young core for wemby.

I am happy with our results, but you have to be smoking something good if you do not vote for Wemby in this poll

To be fair, we won't know for many years. But as of today, it's crazy to suggest the Rockets would rather have Amen + Cam over Wemby. If San Antonio called right now, you'd deal them both plus a ton of other assets for him in a heartbeat.

There is safety in numbers. Imagine trading the entire core and Wemby can't stay on the court.

Anyone over 7'2 is a big no no. That kid is one bad fall away from returning to France. Amen's shot is broken but it's still more likely to be fixed than Wemby being in the league 5 years from now. He's too good to be true.

That's the chance you take. Roll the dice if you wanna win a chip. Play it safe if you like getting bounced in the second-round every year.

This team has enough high ceiling players where if they reach it, that won't be our ceiling at least when they hit their primes. So ya that might be a few seasons of being in the 30s or hopefully 40s if development goes faster than expected with the new coaching regime after three straight 20 win seasons.

Wemby and it's not close. But hey, I'm happy overall.

This will be a talked-about draft in the coming years. So many what-ifs. The biggest is Wemby vs. the field, but there are so many more story lines in this draft. Will be fun to look back in 20 years (assuming I'm still here).

Given the variable of career injuries, and the likelihood of such for someone with Wembanyama's frame/structure...I'm surprisingly content with two bites of the apple.

No matter how much of a guarantee* VW seems, guys like him (sort of, relatively) have come and gone without rings. We've had two of them.

What each NBA team needs is to hit on one really super-dominant mega-talent. Simple odds suggest that having more grabs at the brass ring increase the likelihood.

It's certainly possible the Spurs have simply been much, much luckier than us.

But we don't know that yet, so I'd bet on two Top 5-7 talents over one.

If Wembanyama stays above-average healthy, he probably wins multiple rings, but the odds are better that he doesn't stay even average healthy. Guys built like him just don't. And he's already had foot problems manifest. Kinda glad we're not riding that ride again, honestly. Holmgren already lost one season of his career to Being Built like Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama.

I would rather have Wemby for huge upside, but I am really happy overall with the Rocket's draft.

Wemby is a super thin 7'3"-7'5" and those ankles/feet/knees are scary - just ask Chet...
