I read it and I find that comment very subjective. I've been to several small towns in MN and IA and on warm days there is a huge crowd of people hanging out DQ. DQ is a rural institution not just a TX institution.

If you got Hardees you've got Carl's Jr.

Anyway I'm still wondering why Shipleys, Church's and Frenchy's aren't listed in the poll?

Why would they just throw that in? There had to be reasoning behind it.

Because it's Wikipedia. I could go and add a comment to Whataburger's page calling it the defining Texas fast food. Would that be enough for ya?

Too bad some professors don't allow citations to Wikipedia. You could make **** up, put it on Wikipedia, then cite to it.

I think it should be cited that ClutchFans.net has named Whataburger the defining Texas fast food (by a 3/4ths vote). Someone with an account, get to work.

The author wrote "especially Texas" just because it is wikipedia. I see. Well that clears that up. I am sure that is why the mentioned Most Texas Dairy Queens use Texas Country Foods branding and has their own Texas division http://www.dqtexas.com. It's just because it is wikipedia, no other reason. Of course.

The thread title says fast food. Whataburger is too slow to qualify.

Oh my god, that video is hysterical. Why the hell is he wearing a Lebron jersey? Everything in that is all H-Town except for that damn jersey.

I've gotta agree with this. Especially the part about the beans being awful and having the consistency of tooth paste. I can't STAND Cabana. Its the most overrated slop masquerading as Tex-Mex I've ever eaten.

I like the Houston references, but that song is awful.

You, me, a keyboard, and a camcorder could do much better.

Dairy Queen is good, so is Sonic, but c'mon it's not just a hamburger, it's a Whataburger...

Plus, their taquitos rock...Although, when I was away from Texas, the first thing I ate was Mexican food when I got back...They had a Whataburger in Albuquerque so that was cool...And yes, Carl's Jr. rocks...
