Wow. You really look down on our players that much? What is a fair trade anyway? What upside are you speaking of? It’s never going to be fair to trade role players for a bonifide Star. You think Kuzma and Tatum etc have better upside? Lol. If they did they wouldn’t be trade pieces lol. The rockets “potential package” you mentioned is actually 3 great players that would help any team and hurt us immensely really if we decided to be stupid and trade for one player. I love you social media GM’s. Lol

yes, lets add another injury prone player to this already injury prone squad so Harden has to carry again next year.

If you were pelicans, would u rather build around Tatum, Ingram/Kuz/Lonzo or Capela?

“Significantly better?” Based on what? We beat 2 of those teams this year besides the bucks and sixers who match up with us well in terms of their size. But again what iteration of the rockets team played the sixers? If you watched it you’d remember we played without Clint, House, and CP3. No CP3 against the Bucks. We can beat any team in this league including the feared warriors. That’s the facts as our regular season has shown us beating top teams such as raptors, warriors, nuggets, OKC with an inconsistent rotation. With a consistent and healthy rotation this team still has it. No doubt about it.

Forget about AD. Rockets cannot match the Celtics’ offers.

    Move on.

Where would the Rockets package rank? Not in the top 5 I'd assume. The Pelicans want potential all NBA talent back for Davis. Unless they feel Capela is that (I doubt it) then we have nothing outside of Harden to offer.

easily below Tatum or a top draft pick from NY...I’d also take what the Lakers were offering over Capela without question

Rockets aren’t getting this dude...not even worth thinking about

I argued that Capela was the best chip on the market for AD prior to the trade deadline under the assumption that NOLA wouldn't want to keep AD for the rest of the season and suffer through so much drama... but that assumption was wrong. Now that NOLA decided to keep AD, NY and Boston will clearly have better assets to offer in the summer than Capela so that window has now closed.

I don’t think Celtics trade Tatum. Other than Tatum, who is better than Capela, a top 5 center in the league

What trade package are you speaking of? What news are you reading? I’ve not found one news story in the rockets sending capela to the pelicans so please share that source. Why do social media GM’s always talk about upside? What does that even mean? There will never be fair trades in the NBA when it comes to a disgruntled superstars. That rare talent doesn’t come around often and when you mention names like AD, Kawhi, or KD not often do you get equal talent in collateral. Teams trade players for bigger names because they see a ceiling or plateau rather than seeing potential. Bottom line is teams know what they have and teams know what they need. That’s why morey wanted Harden for no comparable players with That’s why TMac was dealt for franchise and Mobley. PG13 for olaqadipo etc etc. Guys like jimmy butler are rare. Tatum will Be Tatum and Kyle Kuzma wouldn’t be much better. Scouts aren’t dumb. They know what they have.
