Yes! Totally. Unless you want to get Hartenstein ready for the playoffs.

Nene is kinda washed so i'm not sure we can count on him for the playoffs too...at least Hartenstein can run. But yeah, the point is to give a shot to a guy with a big body and potential to be a solid backup for whn Capela comes back, i don't see a downside here, if he plays well enough you just boosted your quality and depth, if he ends up being not ready you can still go back to Nene or look for a trade or a buyout.

Capela/Faried/Hartenstein is sufficient for this team to contend. But give Nene time, he will be better as the season progresses as long as he drops some more weight in the way Duncan did towards the end of his career to preserve some mobility.

We need Nene for certain Matchups. Hartenstein is actually a Stretch 5 in the making but not every game or play calls for that Matchup. We got good enough guys but MDA has design an offense that will utilize these guys

The way I see it, Nene's usefulness is to provide you with 6 extra fouls, set wide screens, and inbound the ball.
He's like an old worn down horse that can still give little children rides, but don't ask him to pull the plow.

He useless on the court. Might as well make him an assistant big coach and bring Hartenstein up. He’s not an NBA caliber player anymore.

No. He's the second-best defender on the team most likely. It's him or CP3. Ofc D'Antoni could give a ****.

No he's not lol. He's a situational big that will come in handy against bigs like Stevens Adams, Demarcus Cousins. Nene is there to be physical, defense & rebounding.
