7-9. I can't go much higher than that with our QB situation.

    5-11

This team led the league in offensive turnovers last year and will be starting a QB with a worse history of turning the ball over than the previous one. The health of our best two skill players is already an issues and it would be a huge shock if they make it through 16 games.

I do think the defense will be much improved but I think the turnovers will be the downfall of the team on a whole which is why I expect between 5-7 wins max.

Lol 9-7 was leading with 25% and dropped to 20% after the pre season game. People started to get realistic now. This team stinks!

10-6. Houston kick Atlanta butt Saturday then Houston get humbled again against Denver. Houston barely gets beat against San Fran playing tryout guys. Week one against Redskins we shock the Nfl world and win. We stay .500 most the year and go on a win streak at the end entering the playoffs.

Fan homer vote Pieman... But if people had to lay down big money bets on what they think the Texans would do _ the votes would probably be a lot different.

Agreed. I like to be realistic with my vote and just hope for the best. No need to hype myself.

Eh, beating the Redskins wouldn't be that big of a shock..

I would like to revote. 4 wins seems more likely now.

2-14. Let's get the #1 pick again! (and let's use it on a real QB this time)

If there's any worth taking... Winston's dad has said several times that his son is going back to school after this year and just recently Florida St paid for a $10 million disability and loss of value insurance policy on him (if he gets hurt or drops in the draft he gets paid), so he's probably not coming out.

If Mariota would have came out this year _ Blake would have still been the #1 quarterback on the board. And there's a strong possibility that Johnny and maybe Teddy would have been drafted before him too. All three of those guys tape is better than his.

I don't "think" the Texans will be bad enough to get the #1 pick though.

Then the Texans beat the Falcons, and everyone picks 16-0. Gotta love this fanbase.

As long as we play teams that rely heavily on the run we should be fine. Our run defense and offense seems fine. If not really good. However, as soon as we get thrown on or try to throw we don't look good at all.

I know its just the preseason, so I wont be dissuaded that easily, still have some faith and optimism in the tank. But Fitz and our secondary really scared me this weekend.

Im thinking 8-8 to 9-7 still. Somebody will turn it on. and Im hoping its bazooka arm savage.
