I've mentioned a few times in Hangout (in a few different threads, and over several years, I think) that I had an amazing dog for many years. He loved women, especially good looking women, and would seek them out at parties. On more than one occasion, I'd have chicks that I didn't know coming up to me, carrying on about this "cool dog," and asking if I knew who he belonged to. I'd laugh and tell them that he was mine. It was a great ice breaker. Then I'd ask if they'd like to see him do some tricks. He always did his best in front of an audience at a party. The more the merrier. His friends, and he had many, would sit back, smile and watch him do his thing. What's a trip is that he learned them all in a few minutes. I'd show him what I wanted him to do (like jump over some furniture, for example, like an ottoman), and he grin and just do it. After that, I could point at something I knew he could get over and say "jump!" and over he'd go. He knew all the standard tricks everyone has heard about. At home, though, if I wanted him to do them, he'd humor me for a few minutes, and then just sit there, looking at me with an expression that said, I swear, "What do you think I am? A performing dog?" and go do his own thing. I've got countless Wonder Dog stories, but I'll spare you any more of them.
