Thought this might be an interesting thread, assuming we have a decent amount of pickup basketball players around here. I always get called "Dirk". I'm 6'3 (which basically amounts to being a 7 footer in pickup ball) and can hit the 3, that's why. It's hard for me to find a player for myself.

The 3 ball is my only offense, basically (no post moves despite usually being the tallest person playing). I play really good defense and get a lot of rebounds and blocks. Maybe like a mix of Mehmet Okur and Serge Ibaka?

    What about you guys?

combo of Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Ray Allen, Dikembe, and a hint of John Stockton. I know, that's disgusting, but I like to elbow people in the stomach on picks.

    Pretty cool thread.

Personally for me, I always get called the white Paul Pierce. Like Pierce I can shoot the 3 and if you go for my pump fake I'll drive right by you. I can also hit the mid-range J pretty consistently.

I've never played basketball, so I'll go with Royce White.

    The Great Ryan Bowen...

Mostly Mike Miller to be honest. Shooting threes and limited driving to basket while playing adequate defense.

I'll be the first to say it, Greg Oden. Let's see who says they are like Lin.

Jeremy Lin and everyone pretty much always forfeits before I even touch the ball because of fear from my greatness.

I've been called Chase Budinger, but that has more to do with my looks than anything else. I pretty much shoot 3's and try (and fail) at Euro-stepping to the basket while playing little to no defense. I'm also locker room cancer and constantly berate my teammates for not giving me the ball enough. I also fancy myself as a Jimmer, and never shy away from taking half-court shots when I'm feeling in the mode.

Strengths - Mid range jump shots, passing , driving to the basket, setting up people, speed.

Weaknesses- Rebounding , interior defense , boxing out.

I'm past my prime due to family, work, and so on but it was alot of fun street ball and one type stuff. I hit 5'6" in Jr high and only grew 1" after lol. I TRIED to play 1-5 and be every one from Jordan to Spud. Dam I miss those days. Didn't realize I was Muggsy short till my freshman year in Jr college. Didn't stop a small school football scholarship. Oh well, cool thread OP.

Reece Gaines, because usually when the other team is considerably better, the other team will trade their best player and in turn they'll throw me the other way.

Used to be Ben Wallace, because I am not that tall (6') but goes after tons of rebound.
