Since most 5'11 say they are 6 feet and the average height for men is 5'10, it is about right.

considering that the average US male height distribution is this...and just because we are on a bball forum, doesnt mean anything. CFans are unusually tall giants...with more than 44% being 6'0 feet or taller...

6'1" w/o shoes and 6'2" with. I'm the tallest (and largest) person in my family. Father is 5'9" and brothers are both 5'11". They are also all around 170 where I hover at 250 and am "skinny" at 210.

I do not play many games online, so I doubt that is me.

It is strange when i was young (like 18) i never saw people who were taller than me (except like 5 centers from other teams). But now a days i regularly wee people who are taller than me (of course not when I'm on vacation).

Of course the Europeans are the tallest on the forum:grin:.
I do not know if you experience the same, but i get very uncomfortable when i talk to somebody who i staller than me. it is just a weird feeling to have to look up when i talk.

Dad is 5' 2'' and mom is 5'.

I'm 5' 6'' and I have to say I got lucky compared to my sisters.

Same thing! I am just not used to it. It's ok when someone is roughly the same height, like you, but on the rare occasions I talk to people who are 6'10 or taller, it just feels weird.

I think my kids are going to be like you. I'm around 5'7" and my wife is 5'4" and both my kids are in the 90+ percentile in height. My son was off the charts until recently. My wife's grandfather was 6'4" so maybe that is where they get it from.

I chose 6' but because of the comments in the thread I thought I would measure myself. Looks like maybe right at or about 1/8" short of 6. I did it a few times and came up with 6' twice and 1/8" short once. This is barefoot. I guess I will stick with my 6' answer.
