In my opinion (which tends to be way off that of others),

Best Pixar movie: Ratatouille with Monsters, Inc in 2nd

Best Disney movie: Robin Hood with the Jungle Book in 2nd

Best animated movie, period: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

    Lion King here too.

Also, this movie made adolescence a lot easier.

I remember seeing that as a kid too... pretty weird stuff. There's another trippy animated movie that I remember seeing at the time but I can't remember the title ... I just remember a bunch of mutants with appendages attached in strange ways.

A favorite would be tough, especially in the face of Pixar's amazing releases one after the other. However, some that come to mind are

And bleh, I know it isn't fully animated but Pan's Labyrinth still deserves A+++ props.

I guess I'd stick with Lion King if that doesn't fit.

Whoa buddy you need to broaden your horizon a little bit.. Try straying away from the mainstream titles and venture off into the lesser known ones in different countries...

I love this movie as well.

I have heard of grave of fire flies. I just don't think I could watch it. It suppose to be the saddest movie ever made.

Ghost in the Shell has always been up there for me but the Transformers movie from when I was a kid will always hold a special place in my heart.

Hard one. Anime-wise, I'd say Ninja Scroll and anything Miyazaki.

Non-Pixar, I'd say Iron Giant is up there.

    Pixar: UP

Disney...not a big fan of musicals. Nothing at all really pops into my head.
