    It did not lead to a war, but if we got involved earlier it could have prevented it from spreading or being as prolonged as both were.

    As for Stressman, that was a factor, but surely you are not naive enough to think that is the only reason for WW2?

    The Versaille treaty and the horrid restrictions placed on Germany were more to blame for WW2 than anything else.
