I have faith that Ryno will make his shots at home this year, I have too please don't let me down Ryno
even Ryno's points too pretty sure Kerr/GSW and Pops/Spurs are more concerned on what a combined MDA/Harden/CP3/Ego/RA can do compared to Donovan/WB/PG/Melo can do,
At least if he doesn't we can throw a defensive forward in there so we are at least getting something from the position
Nobody predicted Dallas to beat Miami or Detriot to beat the lakers those years either. Teams win championships.
What do you think our starting lineup will be once it's cemented? I'll go with: Capela Anderson PJ Tucker Harden Paul I think Anderson will be less distracted at home this year now that he's got his girl locked down and there's no more wedding planning to go on. I also think he'll find his range at the yota. Not as good as the road, but better than last year. It will be a confidence thing that brings those numbers up.
I find it hilarous that even though Harden and Paul haven't played a single minute together in a Rockets uniform, they are being touted as the best backcourt in the league. You'd think after disappointing pairings like Artest-Tmac, Howard-Harden, and Lawson-Harden that Rockets fans would lower their expectations. How quickly you guys forget...
you're comparing Artest, Lawson, and Howard to CP3? At the point of their careers? what top N player were they? or we're they at least at the top 3 in their position? And Harden is already light years better than TMac and he's just entering his prime
Yes former owner this thread will probably be like the last what 22 years. Feel good threads after failing to get a player that can make a difference. Seriously really, I thought yeah we could probably make some noise in regular season but will peak mostly 2nd round. Sigh I am really disappointed in Morey ....
yup I'm disappointed as well that our lone superstar could only single handedly carry a bunch of roleplayers to 55 wins 3rd overall seed being in the west, beat a team with the MVP in 6 games, then lost in 6 games against a clearly better team
Melo wasn't going to really impact our regular season record imo. We are going to be a roughly 60 win team anyway. It would have been excellent to have him in exchange for Anderson, but it's not impossible to make an equivalent improvement some other way this season. To make a serious run at the title, we need one more piece. Hopefully between now and the deadline, someone gets bought out or becomes available. It happens every year and we're well positioned to entice a veteran to join us.
