Well, well. It's here. NY Yanks beat Seattle 9-7. Saturday is the first game against the Mets if I'm not mistaken. I really think that this is UNFAIR. I mean, Houston would have had a better chance had we had 2 teams. All the top 3 cities have 2 or more teams. (Ex. Cali-LA, Anaheim, San Fran, San Diego : NY - Mets, Yanks : Chi-Town - W.Sox, Cubs) Why not us???? I want another team dammit! Anyways, this'll be real interesting. I'm going to be watching closly at Hampton to see if he is gonna be REALLY worth pursuing for Houston next year. Sure he was NLCS MVP, but let's see how the World Series goes..... ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!! [This message has been edited by Rockets R' Us (edited October 18, 2000).]
YEAH BABY!!! Im not even an avid baseball fan, but I'm pumped up about Yankees and Mets. I say Yankees in seven games. And Rocketsrus like I said in a different thread we have a hard enough time keeping one frachise in each sports, much less two. ------------------ Fun Police Says: 1.
