The Rockets are thankfully kept at #2 by the Celtics. And they probably won't rise above that over the next 2 weeks with only 3 games on the schedule(and all against weak opponents). http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...ings-our-expert-panel-unveils-rankings-week-7 The NBA.com Power Rankings have the Rockets at #3: http://www.nba.com/powerrankings/2017-18-week-7#/
They should, but for some reason, the Rockets have had some serious problems with the Nets at home over the last few years.
Celtics lose to Heat, nearly lose to Mavericks - Rockets win all week in blowouts - clearly time to keep the Celtics in first place, sayeth ESPN and SI The conspiracy is real folks.
The best thing about the ESPN power rankings is that they are not controlled anymore by the infamous "committee of one" known as Marc Dallas Stein.
Celtics are overrated. There is a gap in pt differential at the top with the Rockets and Warriors and then the rest of the league.
