We have our HC, how should that impact FA and Draft decisions?

  3. FA3: Add complimentary players in key positions, but don't go after big names.

Alrighty, we have Coach Ryans locked up for 6-years. How would you help him build our team in Year 1?

He's obviously a defensive focused coach, that will now need to oversee the whole team. Does Caserio draft him a "franchise QB" at #2 or add him a defensive cornerstone?

I'm leaning at FA1 and D3. I think if we can add a couple of impact veterans, they could potentially help turn the ship quicker. As for the draft, I really want Carter or Anderson to help shape our front 7, both of these guys look like absolute studs and game plan wreckers, which we need badly.

There are many other factors and choices, but I didn't want to make this larger than it already is. What do y'all think?

I’m with grabbing Daron Payne and another big FA. TJ Edwards would be my pick. Grab Carter or Anderson at #2 and if possible trade up for Bryce or CJ.

I heard this somewhere though so I’m actually not 100% on this.

    FA2/ D2

I still want Bryce Young but if the new OC wants to give Mills a shot in a west coast offense I’d be okay with that too.

I would bring in atleast 1 othe qb to compete. I would be ok with a young player stuck behind a veteran like Jordan love or a vet like carr

Trade down from #2 to Indy or Carolina…. Then deal down from the Indy or Carolina pick for more picks, possibly to the Raiders… could end up with 3 or 4 first rounders.

QB is obviously a big need but we have lots of holes to fill.

This team has 11draft picks including pick 2. It is going to be a few years before the results come on but atleast they are after a few years of being a total mess on the right track again

Sign DaRon Payne, (DT) Tremaine Edmunds or David Long (LB) and Nate Davis (G).

    Young at # 2
    Mayer at # 12

Draft C, WR, edge, DL and LB with other picks.

Would be hilarious if Demeco wanted to stick with Mills. Does anyone actually think Purdy would have fared any better in this situation than Mills has?

    Sign Edmunds
    Sign Ward
Draft Bryce / if we go the route of Carter or Anderson at 2 then sign Jimmy G or trade for Jordan Love
    Fill out the rest

    Next year we have
    2 first rounders again
    100+ mill in cap

This would not surprise me at all. Potentially a new OC a new style offence. Who knows, a different scheme and some more talent around can do wonders. You know why Purdy was good? Surrounded by stud playmakers. I suspect Mills might have fared much better if you put him in Purdy's spot on the 49's
I am not advocating for this, but I can see it coming to pass.

Im going DL/OL and skill guys in the draft and looking at a stopgap like Jacoby Brissett at QB and FAs Ward and/or Moseley from SF.

My first 7 picks would look something like this (according to my latest mock on PFN with no trades accepted so take that with a grain of salt)
2 - Jalen Carter DT Georgia
12- Tyree Wilson Edge Tx Tech
    33- Kayshon Boutte WR LSU
    65- Darnell Washington TE Georgia
    73- Owen Pappoe LB Auburn
    104- Tyler Steen OT Alabama
    138- Joe Tippmann C Wisconsin

Im with this….even though i would be happy with Young as pick 2

Someone like Brissett i think would be ok for a year.

Carter at 2, he will be a disrupter for the next decade. Bpa rest of draft. Add ol and defense in fa. Let mills and a cheap journeyman compete

As long as Mills is not QB1 in 2023, I can roll with whatever we do

He’d be good for holding down the fort until the young guy you draft is ready
