They did, but OKC went into this series and the one last year favored to win because Westbrook is supposed to be this MVP elite top 5-7 player. Westbrook and PG13 are supposed to be better than CJ and Dame.
Yeah, it is the same with GSW obviously. They have 5 Allstars but the Rockets 2 HOFers and their lineup play better than a team with 3 or 4 Allstars. They play equally well with the Rockets having the best Offense. OKC is just not assembled right. They have to overcome many things, they are so inefficient for starters, I dun care who they have. I thought Schroder was a future Allstar caliber player, but I probably overrated him. It is actually really easy to be bad with multiple stars as those guys have massive egos and won't hustle.
After posting a 5-20 few days ago, here's a 5-21 by Westbrook, pretty sure no one will notice that though.
Media will inevitably pick OKC as the trendy team to potentially knock off the Warriors and finish ahead of Houston next season.
I think as we move on, stars that are less flawed win over stars that have major holes in their games. And with the Freedom movement Offense has become so much more important than D. As much as I luv elite D. You can't be just playing one side, Gobert or Andre Roberson.
