We make them strong in Australia.

    I'm still amazed he survived.

Would've been better if he had done a couple of flips on the way down.. but that's just me.

Even though the title reveals that he eventually is fine and walks away I still went "WOOOOOWW!!" when he fell and all my roommates ran in the room.

Heard on the radio he has a bruised kidney and lung. In hospital for observation, but they think he'll be fine.

Is he really okay? The man fell 40 feet. I couldn't believe the morons were in a rush to get him on his feet.

That skateboarding event looked kinda lame. It appears to be just two or three big jumps and thats it. I like the regular half pipes better.

LOL I think that was the equivalent of a announcer being stuck in the headlights.

I just want to point out that in Tony Hawk video games, a 30 foot fall gets blood squirting out. The fact that this man fell even further than that and had no blood squirts just goes to show that video games have a long way to go to achieve realism

Yeah but It's not concrete. The only thing I could see happening to him is some internal bleeding and bruising and some sore muscles in his back/neck.

After that maybe they should install some air bags that can be triggered by staff in case of emergency...
