lol, that’s gonna be the driest All-Star game in history Why would the NBA choose to go there? stars gonna pass on All-Star weekend in Utah for load management and to prepare for the 2nd half of the season as they head to the Bahamas
Yeah, would be funny passed on appearing in any all-star event since they don’t want to be in a shithole like Salt Lake City.
I was going to say "winter Olympics excluded," but even that stat is pretty crazy. 17 years since they've hosted anything relevant is telling.
is telling? I like to bash the Jazz as much as next guy, but you’re talking about a one-sport town for pro events. The Kings would be similar ... and I don’t think Sacramento has hosted anything, either. Probably same for San Antonio, btw.
I just thought it was more tourist-friendly than, say, a place like Cleveland or Charlotte. You're right, in that SA has never been a host site, as far as the AS game goes. Interesting, seeing as how Dallas/Arlington has been the host twice, and Houston 3 times. Looks like 1993 was the last time the AS game was in SLC.
Are they allow to drink or sell booze on Sunday? I don't think Harden is happy about the strip club selection in SLC
Didn’t Dwight go to Utah in some ski resort back in 2014 and decide to come to Houston when he secluded himself in some lodge
also Houston might not be a touristy city but the food is the reason to come to houston. Best cuisines prob in top 3 in terms of food
who yall got for all star starters Taking popularity out of it and voting for the best players, I went with
