Stop talking ****. Curry is not going to lose sleep over trying to defend Ricky freakin Rubio, a career 31.5% 3 point shooter and 37.5% from the field. They'll just play off him and let him take jumper after jumper watching him put up a brick show.

if we traded bev then it's obvious Harden and EGO will start. We will move for a backup PG

What you don't understand is Rubio will not take jumper after jumper. You're living in dream land. What Rubio does is simply take up the space that they give him, get closer th the basket and passes the ball turnovers a cutter or shooter.

The idea that any defense is going to make Rubio take a bunch of jumpers is stupid. It would have already happened if it were possible.

I don't like all this Bev trade talk. He's literal
Stop it. Ricky Rubio sucks. If he is out there passing up shots he instantly becomes a liability. This will be painful to watch when the playoffs come and teams dare this scrub to shoot. Rubio sucks

the only reason why he doesn't is because he can't shoot. the defense gives him a ton of space and i've posted it all year long. there's plenty of vids of how pg's guard him. its plain disrespectful. he just becomes a liability

No he doesn't. He takes up space and creates anyway.

false. the only space he effects is the less amount of room his teammates get to operate with

you can post whatever you want. you won't find a defender just stand there and laugh like jennings is doing to rubio.

lol ok so that's the same thing as what the nba as a whole has done to rubio for his entire career compared to a playoff game plan ok.

I guess the spurs bigs off switches are better off letting harden drive to the basket. that comparison has no relevance whatsoever

This is a ridiculous statement. What cutter or shooter??? Everyone is being guarded tightly by their man AND a floating defender who is sagging off Rubio. If by chance someone breaks loose from their man, then Rubio is not significantly better at making that pass than the average NBA passing PG. AND WHY THE F IS THE PLAY SUDDENLY REVOLVING AROUND A PLAYER WHO CAN'T SHOOT?? WHO DOES THAT?

The guy shoots this poorly while being regularly guarded by the worst defenders in the NBA. Unless he's averaging 13-14 assists and continuing to play good defense, it's not going to offset the train wreck that is his lack of progress in improving his shot. It seems you have a nostalgia about this type of player - and I loved those players back in the day - but NBA defenses have now mastered the art of making a team bleed from its Ricky Rubio.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO WE NEED BEV. He is the closest thing to a Draymond Green that we have. We just need a Klay and Durant type. So if we get Paul George and CP3 or Paul George and Blake, we can't lose Bev. Hell just in general I don't want to lose him. We better keep him a Rocket for life.

Much better than seeing him in a Jazz uniform. Plus the Cavs badly missed Delly in the finals. He'd be the perfect replacement.

I'm not much of a rondo fan but he was the perfect example of how you can be effective when you can't shoot at the pg position. he made his presence felt and impacted games in a ton of other areas despite his glaring weakness

Rubio is better than Bev. D'Antoni could make it work.

Lol @ d'antoni being intersted in a pg who can't shoot. If rubio is so dynamic he would've got the Wolves to the playoffs. He's not, and guys like him and rondo aren't ever going to be elite in this era. He's a decade or two too late
