Chicago does seem a legit destination for Pat Beverly. We'd be doing right by the guy, since he's from there.
As you mention, we need star power. Whether we ever get past the top 2 teams in the West is another matter, but we certainly won't with one All Star.

Beverly is talented. In basketball anything can slow you and keep you from being talented. Bev's noticeable limp that comes on and off over the seasons has hobbled his first quick step to do anything off the dribble since his overseas playing days. He can still break down the defense by cutting and distractions however. Please keep him at all costs.. Big mistake.
