Geez, Texas is like a shampoo bottle...

    Have top ten recruiting class
Enter season ranked high as a national championship contender
    Lose to Oklahoma
Play in non BCS bowl game
    Repeat

I go to Magnolia. We might have one or two people recruited this year. We played Jersey Villagem but I thought their running back was Tuyo... BTW, We beat Cy-Fair on our Homecoming. I'll be playing Varsity either this year or next.

The only thing that Mack is good at is recruiting, apparently. Another type 5 class. Also, he seems to be good at turning top ten picks into 5th round picks.

Mack Brown has the third highest winning percentage in the country over the last 10 years. Mack Brown is also off to the best start in the history of UT football for any head coach.

Many Texas fans have lost all perspective because of their uncompromisingly high expectations. UT can't win the national championship every year guys. You should count yourself lucky to have a guy like Brown that will enable UT to compete every year.

If Mack were 2-2 against OU and has one big 12 championship, I wouldn't be so hard on the guy.

He had his chance to shut the haters up last year against Colorado. Win that game, you win the conference and then play in the MNC game.

I don't think many people would have a problem with Brown if we weren't seeing the same problems over and over again in regards to the offense and defense, regardless of who is playing.

We will compete every year with Brown simply because he's an incredible recruiter, and the team will be more talented than all but a few teams in the nation, but we will never out strategize, or out scheme them, or anything of the sort.

The Cotton Bowl was the perfect example of a Texas win. They threw something at us we weren't ready for, and caught us off guard. We didn't react to well, nor did we make any appreciable adjustments. We simply let our superior athletes make superior plays to keep us in the game, until our talent won through. That's just how Texas is going to have to win games, until Greg Davis and Carl Reese move on.

Brown is not held to a different standard than any of the other coaches at big time programs. Forget national title for a second, is winning the conference title a high expectation for Texas fans? If this is a high expectation then Texas is not a big time program. Texas' biggest rival OU has won the Big 12 twice in 4 years.

all I've ever wanted from Brown was one measly Big XII title.

as the commercial says... What can Brown do for you?

We're getting Eric Foreman from that 70's show? He seems to have put on a bit of weight.

Yes, I know this is stupid and not funny.

If you guys want to cry, consider that Mike Williams from USC wanted to come to Texas.
