Sounds like we dropped some Art Briles goodies in the glovebox of the F-250 left in Hookfin's grandma's driveway.
I think we need a grad transfer RB, and I expect Herman and co to come through on that. 2020 looks massive for OL with several highly rated guys already leaning our direction. Need to close them out and get Zach Evans (who also seems like a UT lean).
Ya being able to redshirt all of last year's OL class is really big too. We really need to close on Hookfin though. Not counting on Shepherd to be a part of this class at this point. As far as Drayton, he is leaving a lot to be desired on the recruiting trail to say the least. We went all in on Cain/Sanders and came out with nothing. If things are start going south with Evans, we're in trouble.
Great news there but they're going to have to bulk him up quick if he's wanting to start. Is that even the plan, to make him a starter right away?
That's what I was hoping for. I just read last week the reason he was so open to Baylor was for the chance to start year 1.
Ehhh, waaaah. RBs will come to UT as long as we have the OL and QB to make it worthwhile. It seems like Herman is doing the right things. Who is a good target for a grad transfer? Ingram should be the main guy, but you always need a couple of backups.
Ya not too worried about the position group itself vs. Evans being of a VY-level, best player in the nation type commitment which we haven't had since.
Was about to post as long as one of the true freshman stayed, we'd probably be good. But looks like Casey Thompson just put his name in as well. Herman needs to convince one to stay.
No doubt. They've been running that on espn repeatedly. Haven't heard how Beck knows ASL, classes or family or...?
