They're really not playing that great, except for Matt Coleman, but still winning. I don't think anyone is playing that great in college sports at the moment given the world. Brown will get better. It's nice he's still impacting the game without his offense kicking in. I don't really get the Kai Jones coming off the bench. I guess they want a guy like Sims to start next to Brown. But the Kai followed by Brown recruit definitely saving Shaka's job. Now he needs to get some guards.
What a good start to the season. We've got a gauntlet coming up: Villanova on Sunday and then Baylor a week later.
Well Greg Brown finally showed up big time. Hope it continues. think an 11 ranking probably too high still but finally good things are happening. Shaka really needs to have a great year and build off this momo big time l.
Lulz. Can Shaka craft a half-court offense? That's the only thing that prevents them from being elite this year. Everything else is there.
this far into it I have no clue what offense Shaka runs really. that said it’s hard to decipher lots of college teams offenses.
Big game today against Kansas. It’s the first top-10 matchup between the two since I was in school. Man, it’s been a rough decade.
Nice first half...love the defense and overall energy, still too many dumb shots at times by the guards.
Wow, the 2nd half was just a glorious asswhipping. This is the type of team I've expected from Shaka all along. Hope they keep it up. Kai Jones, Brown, Sims and Cunningham is an awesome frontcourt rotation. Febres hopefully coming back soon adds a shooter to the backcourt. Watch out @MadMax.
This is a terrific defensive team. I don't trust Shaka's offense at all, but today's throttling was done with an ineffective Greg Brown. I guess we can expect a top-five ranking next week?
Now it’s Texas and everyone else. We had zero business losing to Villanova, but we look better now because of it. We don’t seem to be taking anyone lightly for even a second now.
This is why you need to keep a coach like Shaka for 4 years. Nice to see these seniors developing. All of the one and dones really wore me out. A team with juniors and seniors are the ones that will go deep in the tournament. Hook 'em.
