    Depending on how wide the weights are, and how apart they are from the bar in height... I think it cushioned the blow.

    It's not 275 pounds dropping directly on your neck bro.

    You also can't speculate that the guy missed the rack or that the weight slipped.

    See what I did there?

    My point was that there are many things about the incident we don't know including. I didn't list them all because I assumed people got the point.

    So am I reading it right when they are saying he won't play again? I think they mean it was a career ending accident but do they just mean this season?

    He's a senior, so this season is/was his last. I'm pretty sure he'll get drafted though.
