Sign and trade is never working because Cavs want all the following 3:

1. valuable young players - rockets don't have

2. valuable first round picks - rockets don't have

3. salary cap release - Take TT and JR big contracts?

 

If LBJ wants Houston, he'll get Houston. This is not a situation where Cleveland will hold him hostage.

 

Screw this. I will only want lebron if we lose badly this year.

Ideally we win the chip and bring the band back together.

For the 100th time you could trade LeBron for Ryno, Tucker, and Black. Keep Gordon, go over the cap to resign Ariza and Capela use the MLE for Luc. Problem is getting Cleveland to agree and luxury tax. Bima can elaborate but cap space is NOT our friend here. A trade like we did for Paul is what keeps everyone together.
