Watching Fox News/CNN every night before bed ... or listening to a 3 hour Rogan podcast a week. Sure, there is a surge in people wanting to hear a few of his podcasts. But this massive cult following is a bit over blown.

4 years ago nobody in my circle had listened to a Rogan podcast. Now everyone has at least tuned in once. No extremist.

 

Rogan isn't moving. The platform had a major boost for Rogan.

Regardless, how is picking a side that doesnt censor you a bad thing?

I dunno, it's just odd how people go from "Don't watch CNN and mainstream media!" to championing random dudes that record themselves in the basement they pee in that defends hitler on twitter while tweeting out black crime stats...

They will not stop until they have silenced him. When you have an audience of 11-12 millions listeners, you are a serious threat to them. This Neil Young thingy did not start this train, they have Rogan on their radar for awhile now.

You want to blame anyone… blame the Rogaine Cult members who never stop licking his boots every time some college kid makes a tic tok about him to troll them. The people defending his honor are even more responsible for this going viral and making Spotify feel like they need to do damage control.

Joe is as mainstream and corporate as any of those legacy media people you loathe, by the way. He's not the small little underdog anymore, that's why he's removing his content and apologizing because he's corporate owned now.

Joe Rogan is corporate mainstream media. You don't get to have 11 million viewers and also be the underdog. Spotify is also a major corporation...which Joe works for.

Spider-man movie is also made by 'legacy' corporate mainstream media...

 

What side is being principled here exactly?

Both Rumble and Spotify will commit to an action only if that action benefits their shareholders' return on investment.
