What's the deal with this company?

Why are they the authority on what the proper length of a untucked shirt is?

This guy I work with has some and it just looks like a regular shirt that is a size to small, I think it's a rip off.

If you want to wear an untucked shirt just wear an untucked shirt.

Can somebody please tell me what I am missing?

    Huh? Pics?

I tuck shirts when I'm going to a funeral, or a fancy jacket dinner or? Not sure when else.

What are these shirts you speak of?

I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks this.

It was especially glaring when I saw the shirt up close.

Basically every brand of men's clothing makes "casual" shirts that are designed to be worn untucked. You don't have to buy from this rip off brand trying to reinvent the wheel.

I kind of like them though I haven't bought one yet -- I used to like the square cut ones back when that was a thing.

It's generally not proper to wear an untucked shirt that is too long. Thus the need for this shorter length untucked shirt. This whole industry came about as folks started wearing their business casual as going out wear. Due to rise in waistlines people stopped tucking their shirts in as well. Every major men's line has these shorter length business casual shirts. Having that small logo at the bottom is more unique to this company.

It's fashion. Most important is what the other sex thinks about the brand and the image.

Who is the arbiter of proper?

    Why is this length ok?

    Why is longer not ok.

Not calling you out but really want to know when this became a thing. I am very fashion forward but I just don't get this.

Really, why is the length that makes ok?

i am always untucked unless it's a professional setting.

Into the AM clothing is a pretty cool site. There are bigger discounts via social media for them than just going directly to the site.

The fashion houses/magazines are the ones who determine what's in or not. That image on their website shows the standard dress shirt covering the guys front pocket so that would be a bit annoying if trying to retrieve your phone or pager. Slimmer, shorter, more fitted shirts have been the in thing for the last 5-10 years.

Ironically, longer baggy shirts are now back in style. That being said wear whatever makes you feel better. Most people don't care about others as much as they care about themselves. So they probably wouldn't even notice.
