and it's game 3 of the preseason.

look...i used to say, "it's just the preseason" all the time as a Texan fan. I remember Chance saying the Texans were gonna suck before the 2-14 season....pointing to downfalls in the preseason. And I remember thinking, "it's just the preseason...no big deal." I was absolutely wrong.

teams aren't necessarily capable of flipping a switch like that.

the outcome of the games don't matter. scoreboard doesn't matter. but if your first team can't seem to do anything right, why is that necessarily gonna change? do you honestly believe they're not trying? of course they are. they don't want to be embarassed. there's still a competitive spirit and pride from play to play, and matchup to matchup.

    HOW BOUT 'DEM COWBOYS!!!!!!

Cowboys have looked horrible all pre-season so saying they weren't gonna try today is just making an excuse for them

I really like the strategy. We seem to be having the front 7 clog the middle and front with blitzes, (i.e. not so much dropping LB's in coverage)...I think this was a lesson learned from the last game.

Of course this depends on the secondary doing their job...which they are :)

Kareem the Dream got tired and ran out of bounds.

Let's just say when the Texans have the ball in the redzone, don't expect Red Zone channel to be on when the Texans are trying to punch one in.

We can't show everything in preseason. Plus, that OD guy is a pretty damn good target in the redzone.

yep...amidst my excitement, that's the biggest point of concern from tonight's game...because it's a continuing problem for this team.

The pic to Kareem is a good sign. Have you ever wondered who those players were, that were always in the right place at the right time. One of the best safety's in the league last year- Jarius Bird......

The Texan's had two of those guys last year- Cushing and Pollard. Would be nice to add Jackson to that list.

    PLAYMAKERS.

Our 1's dominated the Cowboys 1's. Im a happy camper. Now its time to watch Toney pull off the upset.

Need to target AJ more on the jump-ball/fade (probably saving that one for regular season). More OD would help. Joel Dreesen could be a nice target, but hasn't been featured much.

Ultimately, the running game's imporvement will need to translate over for this to improve.

Just tuned in a little while ago.

Looks like the ones spanked them and pulled their hair.

    Makes me feel good :)
