I got an original Stroud deep steel blue jersey for my birthday last year (august). Kinda cool to know it will be the only year he wore it. I will still be getting some new ones too.
Nice! Yeah I have hopes that one of the 4 jerseys will be great and Nike will put out an authentic version. I wanted that color rush edition so bad but only replicas. Nike dropped the ball on that one.
I got a think for fitted hats (New Era Cap) and Nike dri fit stuff. Long sleeve mostly. Believe or not, even Nike dri fit stuff has different tiers of quality. The more expensive stuff (locker room official) can feel like cotton silk with sweat resistance.
Accents are the language spoken by phone scammers/harassers who actually answer the calls they make to you instead of hanging up.
I think that logo is super interesting considering most people are saying the logo is not changing. I also think the star looks a tad bigger. Also of note, some people have said there will be an H-Town blue accent on each uniform, but the leaked uniform did not have that. So it would make sense if the helmet was what carried that. It should be a fun couple of weeks. I hope there are more and more little hints like this dropped.
Looks like they decolored that pic for the interview. I added more hue to the pic and it’s even stronger light blue
Oh but when I mentioned the color change during the press conference, they said it was Kroger blue. It was clearly a change from the original steel blue.
It's also possible... it's just a light behind the logo, which would absolutely lean blue in a photograph. I'm not suggesting it isn't intentional. It might be! But I think it's just a regular ol' LED-illuminated logo and people are desperate for leaks/reveals, etc.
I was leaning that way too, but there's clearly a distinction between the star and the outline in terms of color, and both are illuminated.
I said the backdrop in the press conference was Kroger blue. We have known for a while that there was going to be a hint or accent of H-town Blue. How it was going to be done was unknown.
